the European Academy of Wound Te c h n o logy (EAW T ) has been set up. We can now offer professionals who wish to supplement their prac ti cal skills a training scheme validated by a panel of international ex p e r t s . A single, ex perimental training course is proposed, based on practical skills, wound simulations on anatom cal models and real clinical situations.The course ends with an evaluation of the abilities of each participant to use these techniques efficiently.
Modern teaching resources (video, live demonst rations by the organisers, courses run by experienced training professionals) allow rapid acquisition of the techniques essential in every d ay p ra c t i ce and those which will be used in the future.
